Children Available for Adoption, Waiting Children
A healthy, older child or a child with special medical needs is referred to as a “waiting child”. The requirements for adopting a waiting child are much more lenient for the prospective parents along with less of a waiting period. Depending on the country and their individual regulation, the expense and fees may be less too. In some areas in Vietnam, only a child under the age of 15 may be adopted unless they have special needs.
